Well, I would have the fullest sympathy for anyone who finds the din over most riddims too much. At least that's how I feel about this album to a large extent.
The word "overproduction" comes to mind, although I'm not really sure about the term.
I'm constantly hesitating, whether to discard the album or just put it on a list of favorites or even buy it as a full disc.
I initially limited myself to a few highlights.
"Rad Boi" / "Enformer" / "East Stir" and "Lost My Mind" just had to be on my list of favorites. There was no way around it for me.
And I have to come out as completely clueless again. I can't tell the most likely thoroughly programmed bass from a real bass. At least that's how I feel about my highlights. If ComputerBass sounds like that, I really have nothing more to complain about “Ring The Alarm” ….
The phenomenon “BIASSLINE” particularly grabbed me again!!!
