I always enjoy Russ D. most when he not only lays down a sonic tapestry for the Hot Steppas, but also repeatedly emphasizes the deep roots of reggae. Here, I mostly get a really good roots feeling, which almost naturally leads to a good overall impression. DubIt contributes to feeling. That makes sense, because DUB IS THE ROOTS !!!
