Dreadzone: Nine

Yes, “real” DubNerds will probably disagree with me vehemently. But what can I do? As an old DreadZone fan, I can't help but find these - as almost always - very poppy and "easy listening" tunes nice on the whole. I found "Little Britain" more than just nice. For me it was a real hit, for radio listeners as well as for DubNerds who don't always need "pure and original". I always think DreadZone is good, even when they're "bad" sometimes.
But I find the tunes with vocals particularly poppy, even or perhaps even despite the fact that they are sung by Earl Sixteen.
It doesn't matter, because I know that I can also play DreadZone if not necessarily the biggest Dub And there are reggae fans there. There is a good overlap between freaks and “normal citizens”.
The singing is a bit too "nice" for me though, so I'm particularly into the really nice tunes like "Return To The Garden" and the ones that follow. "Return To The Garden" in particular wraps me in a fluffy blanket and makes me both happy and a little melancholy, depending on how I'm feeling that day.
It is actually the complete opposite of what I like about DubMusic so fascinated but even though I like to be a “tough dog”
would be, I can not always come out of my soft skin.

I like DreadZone! …………………. lemmi

Oops, again...
Yes, I like them a lot too, always have, ... and especially the tunes with Earl Sixteen. Especially when I put the headphones on, I know that these guys are damn good, always a rich, awesome sound enriched with an incredible number of nuances. By the way ... :-)
