Allow me to point out a technical simplification regarding Bandcamp and YouTube. For Android users, there's an app (pipepipe > fdroid store) that accesses these platforms without ads. There's also a down arrow that allows local saving with moderate but acceptable quality. And a few other useful features if you're playing around a bit. Of course, the app isn't a replacement for a record, and it's not meant to deprive artists of royalties. But maybe it's useful here and there...

Thanks for the tip… I've never seen ads on Bandcamp, though. But there are some artists who set up their releases so you can only listen to them for free a few times, after which you're prompted to purchase…
