Idren Natural & Slimmah Sound: INI Foundation

It's actually on the turntable at my house for the first time today (if nothing comes up).

Anticipation is already fitting ……………….. lemmi

Especially the Dubversions are top notch… listen to “Dub Rights” the Kete sound, it totally blows me away!
And very nice bias lines.

High Philip!

I could also "google" what "Kete Sound" is, but I'll just say it like this. Up to now I have no idea what Kete Sound is. But of course I'll pay attention and report back...
how it came across to me, or is coming across to me. As long as it doesn't sound like a "squeaking phone", nothing can go wrong ;-)
By the way, I had a hard time deciding which Slimmah Sound record I should order. I decided on this one.
I don't know exactly what is meant by "Editors Choice" but I interpret it to mean that the editor was able to decide more easily on this record. It gets under my skin a little bit better and "inna me brain", inna me blood, inna my ankle and inna my knees" and all over and all in. If you know what I mean.

Yeah man! I'm excited …………………. lemmi

Ah yes, all right! Thanks Philipp!
Nyabinghi is the most important root of reggae and Dub. And yes, the drum is a mainstay on this album, if I am not mistaken. In “Dub Rights” it is particularly intense.
The bias lines are also my thing. Most of the time they are actually pretty simple, but they make full use of the amplitude of a sine curve, which may be a secret for balanced bias lines. (I have no idea and I don't know anything about it, but I'm still trying to figure out the secret of very good and magical bias lines).
The singing also makes me smile occasionally, as it is not the only one that lacks the charisma that we are used to from the heroes from Jamaica and which will always be the measure of all vocals. But time just keeps moving
“Forward ever! Backward never!” and so I turn a deaf ear and practice gracious tolerance.
There are also many good riddims on the disc (actually all of them) and I found a really big big big tune that will “always” be on my prime time. I’m talking about,
“THE CORNER”!!!
The tune is so great for me that I can't find anything to complain about in the vocals. Everything just works for me!
This is a bias line that I don't already know from Jamaica (which doesn't necessarily mean anything specific). This bias line is driving me crazy!!! And it's FULLY POSITIVE!!!
Yesterday I "danced" to the whole album anyway, or as I like to say, I moved in a very "esoter" way. During "The Corner" my movements got so out of hand that I was glad to be completely alone, or at least that no one was standing next to me who might be on their way to work. That would have been a collision of worlds ;-)

Ok, I'm glad to have talked about it again... see you later... lemmi
