Jah Myhrakle and Afrikan Warriors: AncIenT

One response to “Jah Myhrakle and Afrikan Warriors: AncIenT”

For me it still exudes a lot of “original Jamaican reggae feeling”,
even if it doesn't come from Jamaica. Jah Myhrakle in particular exudes Jamaican flair and rarely talks too much.
(Yes, I know, I have to say that…)
But for me he has with “Keep The Seals Dub“ set the bar so high that he completely falls short with this album and doesn't even come close to reaching “high grade status”. And again and again there's that weird sound in the “rimshots”.
To me it sounds a bit like the lid of a trash can slamming shut. But that could just be a very special feeling of mine. I just don't like that sound.

Good over evil ……………… lemmi
