There are some very nice melodies and I also like the synth “blubber” in “Sleepy/Dubby Maggie” and “Cooleys Dub"I'd love to. I wouldn't know exactly what you meant if you had described it that way, but I can't describe it any better right now.
With all the AI paranoia that has me firmly in its grip and is almost making listening to music a little too much for me, these beautiful melodies could easily have come from an AI again. But that doesn't really matter, because the music here, at least on my system, which I otherwise love, has a sound that the Jamaicans managed to achieve much better over 60 years ago, for example in Studio One. The drums, and especially the snare and the hi-hat imitations, sound as if they're pulling in outside air. Their effect is more like that of a vacuum cleaner with the outside air valve left open. It doesn't really suck in the air, and in the music, it comes across as intentional but incompetent.
To me, it sounds like cheap computer music with AI help.
Bomboclaat! ………………………. lemmi
hmmm, apparently no AI but also no good dub music.
