I feel compelled to quickly express my opinion here!
I find it wonderful again! There are certain sounds, frequencies, and, well, sound in general that completely captivate me. Whether it's because the offbeat riddim is exactly so "sacred" and, above all, with a special "bite," as well as a perfectly balanced blend of reverb and echo, filling the entire room. Or/and because the bass melodies so beautifully envelop my soul with all their charm, making me feel completely at ease. This comforting abundance of sound and effects, paired with riddims that I find almost divine, has already struck me as very good with Richie Phoe, and it's also a major reason why Haris Pilton continues to inspire me. And Mr. Woodwicker has this very invigorating and refreshing effect on me for the same reason. They all have their own unique style, and every sound is different, yet they are all, for the same reason, exactly right for me. All of them. DubThe s and versions are bursting with joie de vivre and evoke the same feeling in me. Thank you for that!
Unfortunately, humor is always a tricky thing. The vocals here at
"Black Humor In" Dub“One track would have been enough for my taste. Having these vocals spread throughout the entire album does strain my sense of humor a bit. I didn't need that much of it. But I like the music so much that I'm willing to put up with it. The only question is how long my tolerance will last. Therefore, I could almost welcome the fact that only such short "promo versions" were recorded here.”
For the DubHowever, that's not good style, if I may say so. DubThe versions here are definitely too short.
But the sound, the atmosphere and the entire DubFeeling is once again completely to my liking.
And anyone who calls themselves "God's Favorite Idiot" is, in my opinion, already on a very good path...

Thank you so much for your review, I truly love it… critics included. Just to say… I created this album because after I produced and dubbed more than 100 tunes i was really overwhelmed and i felt the need to hear different topics from usual reggae ones…more…i felt the need to homage what influenced me in my musical journey…and…of course… to share my weird sense of humor…btw…it s me singing my lyrics…
No AI was harmed during the recording of these tunes…

I love it when the artist is reading in DubBlog, to check out our opinions. I feel proud when you call my comment a “review”. But this is a little bit oversized or call it as you like. A review needs much more information than just a comment. But no problem, we don't have to think about little things like that.
To me it is almost sure that you dont use AI in your production, because AI is a cold tool without any feelings, got no enthusiasm for the music and it has no conscious brain and no own soul. And it got a humor like F.Merz. Yours DubMusic is completely different! It's full of humor in lyrics and melody and it got all the power, what I need in reggae and Dub Music. It is not minimalism! It is maximalism!
It's the same as "Under my Voodoo"! There you can find not only comments. You can find a real review from Mr. Waynands himself. Ok, he has lost one star on the long way but ….. no problem ;-)

Yes…it can be considered a review…you widely expressed your feelings and thoughts…some critics…btw i love critics when almost clearly explained…i knew that a kind of album like that could leave listeners perplexed…to be kind…but as said somehow i see too many stereotyped reggae tunes…in my prods too…so i said what if i add a punk black humor approach to reggae…and at the same time homage my influences…such as 90s nofx stuff…i loved to force myself to sing…and fun fact…with my normal voice im so much out of tune…but using that armstrong inspired kind im almost perfectly tuned…even my sound engineer cant explain it…guess it a dissociation mind trick…but most important thing is that I hope i made someone laugh and reflect hearing my tunes…
