Zikoyiannis Yiorgos, Raw Future Sound: From Athens to New York the Dub versions

What else did I write about "Obeah In Jazz"?!
"Jazz can be so good" and "DUB IT’S JAZZ!” …….but jazz is not DUB !
Here I listen to jazz without Dub And on top of that, jazz that absolutely doesn't groove. I find the "bass lines" and the piano tinkling unmusical. It feels like differential and integral calculus in advanced math class for a student who can't get more than a point. (Yes, that's how it was for me! I was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time.)
Jazz may be considered a high art of music-making, but I've never really been into that kind of high art. It's just not for me.

This is no Dub and I don't like it! ……………….. lemmi

Hi Lemmi

I took the time and listened to the whole album… it wasn't always easy… and yes, it's not Dub In the classic sense, but the mixes have reverb, tracks come and go, and delays and echo effects are also noticeable. Sometimes subtle, sometimes more pronounced… so I would also consider it Dub to describe. The comparison with the original album "The Last Train" (https://album.link/ch/i/1663845293) is still pending…
But as has been said so often: opinions differ when it comes to taste!
And I strongly suspect that your ears will be delighted by the soon-to-be-released album "Jazz Gone". Dub“ (https://gaudimusic.bandcamp.com/album/jazz-gone-dub) might prefer to listen to Gaudi again… Jazz and Dub It seems to be a current trend…

Oh yes, Philipp! You saw right through me, or rather, you understood me! Gaudi's album could really be right up my alley again.
At least the two tracks I get to listen to are really great. Especially track number 1 is really good. That's Biasline and... Dub With groove! Gaudi's piano playing sounds really fine to my amateur ears. It sounds like music and not like a search for the most inappropriate notes. I think the difference is clear, otherwise you certainly wouldn't have been so sure that GaudiJazz would appeal to me.Dubwill be well received.
But I have to repeat myself again. This is all just nonsense. How am I supposed to buy an album where I can only check out two tracks and nothing else? Who does that?

Oh well, whatever. I'm in a mood right now where I could "hug" the whole world. Especially the heads of state, who without exception prove themselves unworthy of the difficult task.
It's really not that difficult. You just can't always do EVERYTHING for the "rich men." They obviously don't care about humanity at all.

I'm about to burst with anger ………………….. lemmi
