Maybe it was actually the vibes of the young Swedish singer Junior Natural - on his debut last year “Militant” this one Dub-Work based - which Sly & Robbie got out of the routine and inspired new ideas. "Militant Dub"Is unmistakably Sly & Robbie's" taxi sound "and yet the tracks are more exciting, more pointed and clearly more idiosyncratic than the taxi material of recent years. The mix is also far more inspired than what Dartanyan Winston has delivered on the last few albums. Fortunately, this time he doesn't have his fingers in the game. Instead, Robbie Shakespeare, in collaboration with Steven Stanley, is actually responsible for it. Did the two well. The album is not a revelation - how z. B. Definitely not a revelation! But also not suitable for tearing. I think the riddims are pretty good, but I really want to Dub-Mixing the two probably still had no. The effects are very sparse and quite subtle, yes, almost well. But it doesn't matter, it fits! Regarding the “tasteless cover”, I have to admit that I don't find the guns so offensive.
